Once a year, we gather a small group in Yelapa, Mexico for a week of yoga, rest, music, nature, and connection. Join us this year\u2019s Yelapa Yoga Retreat, \u201cRoot to Rise\u201d from April 11th \u2013 17th.<\/p>\n

The retreat takes place at Pura Vida; an eco retreat center perched above the ocean, surrounded by jungle, and accessible only by boat. Experience the original Traditional Hot Yoga (26 & 2)<\/b><\/a> sequence in its traditional format: 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises practiced in a heated room (102\u2013105\u00b0F). This 90-minute silent practice follows a set sequence, with each posture performed twice to cultivate focus, consistency, and precision.<\/p>\n

This was my introduction to yoga many years ago. I used to practice this sequence every single day for years. Eventually I learned to teach it and it has always been dear to my heart. In many ways this practice changed my life and I can’t wait to share it with you.<\/p>\n
