This was my first DJ/Yoga collaboration! One of my best friends growing up, DJ Hon was sweet enough to come and play music for my class! La Spiga let us do a pop-up class on their gorgeous mezzanine. This Northern Italian restaurant, with pasta made fresh daily by Chef Sabrina, is set in the old Piston and Ring building. Right smack dab in the center of Capitol Hill, this place has vibe!

I gathered a group of friends, who brought some of their friends and as it does, it all came together quite nicely! Practicing in a not-so-traditional space brought a fresh perspective and an opportunity for students to really get into the flow. It was a lot of fun! The music was wonderful. Lots of ambient down tempo grooves kept us moving at a nice pace.
